満月の夜、屋根の上に猫たちが集まっています。
まるで何か大切な集会でも開かれているかのようですが、
猫たちは月には見向きもせず、思い思いに過ごしています。
毛づくろいをする猫、伸びをする猫、
ただ静かに座っている猫、こちらを見つめる猫。
猫たちは誰かに合わせることもなく、
急ぐこともなく、ただ自分の時間を生きています。
こんな夜には、
人も猫のように自由でいられたらいいのにと思います。

On a quiet night under the full moon, a group of cats gathered on the rooftops.
The moon was bright and beautiful, but the cats did not seem to care.
Cats live in their own way.
They do not hurry, and they do not try to please anyone.
Perhaps that is why watching them makes us feel calm.
